Gratitude for the Ordinary

September 1, 2024

I love this!

My terrible triad injury from my elbow has brought me to a place of deep gratitude for the little things in life. It’s the people who care, who check in, who genuinely cheer me on that mean the most. This injury has made me appreciate the simple joys—like being able to write, type, and swim—each a small victory that I no longer take for granted.

The biggest lesson this injury has given me is gratitude. Just pure gratitude for the good.
