Words That Walk

September 14, 2024

We live in a world where words are thrown around casually—“I love you,” “I miss you,” “I need you,” “I hate you.” We hear them so often that they sometimes lose their weight, becoming just another tool for instant gratification. Many believe that saying the right thing at the right time is enough to hook someone, to make them believe. But words alone don’t carry true meaning.

The real power lies in being the definition of the words you speak. It’s not enough to say them; you must live them. That takes vulnerability. To say “I love you” and truly mean it requires showing that love through your actions, not just when it’s easy but when it’s hard. To say “I miss you” means embracing the ache of absence and honoring that feeling through your behavior.

Words can be beautiful, but they become truly powerful when we embrace them and express them with sincerity.
