The Chase

November 18, 2024

I stopped chasing to over explain myself. And when I stopped, I felt a sense of relief to not have to care about needing to be understood, anymore. It made space to love myself more and to stay present on my own journey.

I think every one of us has the power to seek to understand anything and everything. If there is a commitment by the other party to misunderstand or make wrongful assumptions about my intentions, then it’s not mine to chase and fix the narratives. I let go because that isn’t my journey to take on.

I stopped investing my emotions and energy into any chase.

However, I know I will never close the door on anyone genuinely seeking to understand my intentions.

I am letting go what is no longer mine.

Peace.
