2025: A Promise to Little Sam

December 26, 2024

As 2025 steps in,

I see you, little one,

Still standing, still soft,

Despite the storms.

We’ve learned—

Each scar a lesson,

Each mistake a stepping stone.

You’ve done all you could,

Given all you had,

And now, we let go.

I’ve got you now.

Your fears, your hopes, your fragile dream.

I’ll carry them with care.

This year, we walk together.

One step at a time,

One truth at a time.

We’ve got this.
