Power-Hungry and Parent-Wounded

February 3, 2025

We are living under the rule of men with deep-seated mummy and daddy issues—narcissists who crave power like oxygen. And we are paying the price for it. These aren’t leaders; they are wounded children in suits, manipulating their way into positions of authority because they knew exactly what to say. They sold a vision, and too many bought it without question.

The truth is, if more of us were awake—yes, woke—we would have seen through the facade. We would have recognized the danger in electing men who thrive on control, validation, and the illusion of strength. But here we are, watching the consequences unfold, just a month in, and it’s already a disaster.

Leadership rooted in personal wounds will never serve the people—it only serves the man in power. Maybe next time, we’ll think before we hand them the keys.
