The Exhausting Chase for Enough

February 16, 2025

Chasing validation—being seen, heard, and enough—is exhausting. It drains you because no matter how hard you try, it’s never enough. You reach a breaking point, frustrated and angry. But who can you be angry with? Yourself? Others? The truth is, everyone has their own journey, and their responses don’t fit the perfect puzzle you imagined.

You shut down. You swallow your truth because you’re afraid—afraid of losing people, afraid of their reactions. But it eats you from the inside out.

Here’s the thing: Most people fear hearing the truth more than facing the consequences of ignoring it. They can’t say, “I’m afraid to hear your truth.” Instead, they make you feel like you’re the problem. That’s where your strength is tested.

The real work—the work that frees you—starts within. It’s hard, especially if you’ve carried childhood wounds. The work feels heavy because it is. But doing the work is how you live, not just cope.

Stop giving your power to people who don’t even know who they are. You’re not behind—you’re likely far ahead of most. The difference? You wear your truth on your sleeve. And that takes courage.

Note to self:- Keep going. The work is worth it.
