Man & Machine: My Kind of Art

March 22, 2025

Let’s get something straight—yes, I use ChatGPT to write my blog posts. And yes, I know some people will judge me for it.

I discovered its power while healing from a terrible triad injury. I couldn’t type or write with my fingers, so I was forced to explore alternatives—enter voice-to-text. That’s when everything changed. As I started using voice-to-text with ChatGPT, I realized just how powerful this tool could be.

I became the force behind it—the mind, the message, the emotion. ChatGPT became my channel. Together, we create content that doesn’t just scratch the surface but captures the tone, depth, and story I want to tell. It hits the nail on the head—because it’s still me, just expressed through a different medium.

But here’s the truth: every word, every theme, every emotion—I feed it into this machine. My mind drives the direction. My lived experience, the way I see the world, the way I choose to express it—that’s mine. That’s art.

ChatGPT is the tool. I’m the soul behind it. Together, we produce something that’s not only efficient, but deeply aligned with how I think and feel.

The world judges. But the world also scrolls, consumes, and moves on. Few stop to understand the process behind the creation. Fewer still recognize that collaboration—whether with a paintbrush, a pen, or a machine—doesn’t diminish the artist.

I’m not here to prove anything. I’m just here to speak my truth. And if a machine helps me do that more clearly and efficiently, then so be it.

This is my kind of art.
