The Cost of Unchecked Power

June 22, 2025

There’s a reason propaganda works—it feeds on unconsciousness.

When we hand over our trust to self-serving leaders who haven’t done the inner work, who haven’t looked in the mirror and confronted their own wounds, we risk being led by unexamined egos. The consequences? They don’t just stay at the top. They ripple through society—into our homes, our communities, and even our inner narratives.

When people are unconscious, they become easy to program. When they’re programmed, they no longer see clearly. And when that happens, it becomes dangerously easy to forget that those on the other side of the narrative are human too.

It’s all connected—leadership, awareness, compassion, power. And perhaps it’s time we stopped giving our power away to those who’ve never learned how to hold it responsibly.

Are we awake enough to question who we follow?
