A Journey of Change

June 24, 2024

In life, connections come and go,
Paths diverge, directions flow.
No judgment lingers in this fate,
Just nature’s course, a shifting state.

Friends who once were close and dear,
Lessons now, in memories clear.
Once companions, now acquaintances, true,
Some become strangers, faded from view.

The ego’s grasp may feel the pain,
Analyze, and count the gain.
But when the ego steps aside,
This change feels natural, no need to hide.

As I grow truer to myself each day,
My circle narrows in a purposeful way.
My tribe, those who are honest and bold,
Vulnerable not from fear, but from a heart of gold.

To those who once shared in my life’s design,
I wish you well, your paths align.
This poem speaks with gentle grace,
Change brings new, as old we embrace.
