Be Your Own Witness

July 4, 2025

It’s wild how easily we hand over our power in search of validation. One comment, one look, one moment of approval from someone who has never lived our story—and suddenly we question our path or worse, our worth!

No one else has walked through your emotions, carried your wounds, or lived your quiet battles. To give another person the power to define your worth or direction is not just unwise—it’s dangerous.

As Epictetus said, “If you need a witness, be your own.” You already hold the truth of who you are. Stand in it. Witness yourself. Validate your own becoming.
