Breadcrumbs

June 23, 2024

In moments when we don’t love ourselves,
Breadcrumbs of kindness seem like loaves,
A glance, a word, we grasp and cling,
To shadows of love, mere crumbs they bring.

How often we stumble in the dark,
Blind to our worth, our inner spark.
Not until we face a wall, a plight,
Do we begin to see our own light.

Pain arrives, a harsh, unyielding guide,
Yet within its depths, our truth resides.
Running feels easy, the chaos to flee,
But healing lies where the pain must be.

Embrace the hurt, let it reveal,
The roots of wounds, the scars that heal.
In facing darkness, courage is found,
In every tear, wisdom is bound.

Breadcrumbs no more, for we deserve the best,
In self-love’s embrace, our souls find rest.
Pain, a teacher, a guide to our core,
Shows us our worth, we settle no more.

In the depths of sorrow, freedom gleams,
Through trials and hardships, we find our dreams.
Know your value, embrace the fight,
For in the pain, you’ll find your light.
