Echoes Between Heartbeats

April 17, 2024

Within the chambers of our hearts, walls rise—silent, unseen,
Built brick by brick with whispered fears, where shadows convene.
We’ve sought for hands in darker times, found none that truly heal,
Reflections gaze back through the glass, their silent pleas we feel.

We are the architects of our own fragile destinies,
Building and breaking beneath the weight of memories.
We rise, we fall, a perpetual dance of grace and disgrace,
In giving, in taking, we find our place.

Love blooms in the wild spaces of our unspoken dreams,
Smiles veil our scars, a quiet strength in silent screams.
Cycles known, paths worn deep into the soul’s terrain,
We rise once more, our resilience reborn from pain.

Like rain, we fall, not with gentle drops, but with fierce intent,
Each descent a catharsis, each impact a testament.
Tethered to celestial cycles, moon-bound and star-kissed,
Children of the cosmos, in twilight’s embrace we exist.

Through the darkest nights, we march—brave, unyielding,
Waging wars with shadows on celestial fields, shielding
The light within us from the suffocating dark,
Bearing torches of hope, an eternal spark.

We are the echoes between heartbeats, the quiet and the roar,
The prophetic whispers of the past, the key to the door
Of tomorrow. We are the paradox, the sin and the salvation,
Living each breath as both condemnation and celebration.

We will fall like the rain, heavy with the promise of renewal,
Thank God for the rain, for each drop refuels
Our spirits, washing over the sorrows, the stains,
Leaving us cleansed, unbound, breaking our chains.

Step outside, feel the rain—embrace its fall,
It’s the echo of our humanity, the call
To rise, to mend, to break, to be—
In the rainfall, find the courage to see.
