Finding Home

June 2, 2025

We often search for “home” in people, places, and milestones — believing that once we arrive at a certain point, we’ll finally feel grounded. But the truth is, home isn’t a destination out there. It’s a blueprint etched within us from the very beginning.

Home is the feeling of wholeness, peace, and belonging we carry deep inside — even when the world around us feels chaotic or unfamiliar. Yet, life has a way of pulling us away from that center. Through heartbreaks, detours, and the stop-and-go rhythm of growth, we lose touch with it. We forget. We wander.

But this forgetting is part of the journey. Because every experience — the joy, the ache, the moments that break us and remake us — leads us back to that internal compass. Back to presence. Back to truth. Back to self.

Eventually, we remember: Home was never lost. Just waiting to be rediscovered.

And in that moment, everything gets a little easier.

Lyrics from Stick Figure’s song “Stepping Stones”:-
