Inhumanity

July 23, 2025

There are no words that can soften the truth.

Children are being killed. Again and again.

We call the killers monsters—

But what do we call ourselves when we watch it happen

and carry on with dinner plans?

With holiday bookings?

With silence?

Amanda Gorman said it plainly:

“To watch monsters kill children again and again and do nothing isn’t insanity, it’s inhumanity.”

There’s no way to justify this.

No spin, no excuse, no distraction that makes it less disgraceful.

This isn’t just a broken system—

It’s a broken humanity.

That’s it.
