Into The Light

June 3, 2024

In the dawn of a new horizon, a chapter begins anew,
With lessons from the past, and dreams of what I’ll do.
Each step a mark of courage, each breath a sign of grace,
With eyes wide open, I embrace this unknown place.

To those I’ve met along the way, whose paths entwined with mine,
You were my guides, my mentors, in moments most divine.
You showed me where the shadows lay, where healing had to start,
With wisdom shared, you touched my soul, and deeply changed my heart.

Some journeys end, some friends remain, but not all will proceed,
To this new path, this future bright, where different lights will lead.
For those who stay behind, I carry gratitude profound,
Your teachings and your kindness, in my heart forever bound.

The echoes of our laughter, the tears we’ve gently shed,
Are etched in time, within my mind, where memories are fed.
Though our paths may part, the love remains, a beacon strong and true,
For in each goodbye lies a thanks, for everything I knew.

As I step into the unknown, with eager heart and mind,
I look ahead to all that’s new, with nothing left behind.
To the future, I am ready, with excitement in my eyes,
For new beginnings call my name, beneath these endless skies.

So here’s to you, my past and present, for all you’ve helped me be,
I thank you now, and take my leave, with hope and certainty.
To new beginnings, new friends, new dreams, to everything that’s bright,
I walk this path, with open arms, into the boundless light.
