Letting Go, Without Leaving

Love is an exquisite contradiction: two selves guarding their edges while daring to dissolve, a dance that forbids ownership yet invites surrender. It grows by giving away what it cannot keep, attention, freedom, responsibility, until intimacy becomes the art of letting go without leaving. If it can’t honor a “no,” it never deserved a “yes.”
