Redefining Normal – Embracing Authenticity and Acceptance

November 2, 2024

This quote, “Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly,” reminds me of the freedom that comes from embracing our true selves instead of conforming to others’ ideas of normality. If we start by being a safe space for ourselves, we open up the understanding and empathy needed to accept others as they are. In doing so, we redefine “normal” to include the diversity of being authentically ourselves, creating a world where everyone feels free to live in their truth.
