Start With the Spark Within

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and then go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

 – Howard Thurman

We often ask ourselves, What does the world need from me? But maybe the better question is: What makes me come alive?

Howard Thurman’s words remind us that aliveness is not selfish—it’s a service to the world. When we follow the path that lights us up, we create a ripple effect. Joy, purpose, creativity—all of it begins within and flows outward.

The world doesn’t need more people trying to fit in. It needs more people who are lit from within.

Because when you come alive, we all feel it.
