The Heart’s Wild Fire, The Mind’s Quiet Map

July 23, 2025

You can’t control the heart. As much as you try—logic it away, box it in, delay it—it pulses on its own timeline. It whispers go anyway even when nothing makes sense. And honestly? I don’t know how anyone lives a full life without following their heart.

But here’s what I’ve learned the hard way: the heart alone can burn you. It’s magic, yes—but wild. Without the mind’s quiet map, you can lose yourself in the fire.

There’s a necessary dance between the two. Not domination—alignment. The head is not the enemy. It’s the compass that helps the heart reach places it otherwise might burn before arriving.

So to the fearless: yes, leap. But don’t leap blind. Bring your whole self—heart lit, mind steady. That’s the real alchemy. That’s the way you not only live… but stay alive long enough to tell the tale.
