The Quiet Gifts of Gratitude

September 25, 2024

Gratitude is about noticing the small things we often overlook. A neighbor who smiles, a stranger who holds the door, a friend who checks in. These simple acts of kindness surround us every day, yet we’re so focused on our goals that we miss them. Pets jumping on us, loving us unconditionally, the beauty of nature that changes with every passing moment—these are life’s true gifts.

In my healing journey, I’ve learned to pause and acknowledge these moments. Gratitude, no matter how small, lifts the spirit and reminds us that goodness is always present, if we choose to see it.
