The Truth Within

May 21, 2024

The biggest lie we’re told each day,
To chase another’s dream, another’s way,
That happiness and success, defined,
By others’ goals, not our own mind.

In society’s rush, we seldom see,
The essence of our own, unique decree.
Why should success have one sole face,
When every soul holds a distinct grace?

Authentic beings, we stand apart,
Yet no one speaks of the authentic heart.
The key to purpose lies within,
Our true self, where dreams begin.

We mimic, follow, the crowd’s own beat,
Ignoring what makes our hearts truly complete.
But when we love, accept our core,
We find the peace we’ve long searched for.

Live life each day, your spirit true,
Success is there in all you do.
In the now, here’s where peace resides,
In your own life, let your success abide.

It’s your life, your path to tread,
By your own truth, let yourself be led.
Discover the joy in being you,
In authenticity, find your view.
