Burdens laid upon the past’s wide shore,
Life beckons through an open, waiting door.
With each step tread softly, ever light,
Through thickets dark and dawn’s early light.
Cast off the weight of yesterday’s sorrow,
No anchor of angst to cast to the morrow.
On tiptoes dance, so deft and so free,
Where quicksands retreat, and souls agree.
Fear not the pull of a shadow’s embrace,
Nor the heavy heart’s cumbersome case.
Grace in your glide, a willow’s soft sway,
Through troubles and trials, light finds a way.
Heed the words of sages and dreamers,
Life is a journey, not as it seems or
Appears in the mist of tears we’ve cried,
Unburdened we walk, with nothing to hide.
So, lightly, my dear, on this vast stage tread,
With love as your compass, by kindness be led.
Leave luggage unneeded on yesterday’s rug,
Embrace the horizon with a heart, warm and snug.
For life is a whisper, a delicate thread,
In the fabric of time, with each day we wed.
Tread lightly, love purely, in joy’s sweet embrace,
Unencumbered we journey through time and through space.
