Unseen and Unheard

April 10, 2025

Just watched the town hall, and honestly, it felt like watching two parties stuck in their own echo chambers—each working overtime to push a narrative that fits their brand. It’s disheartening.

We’re living in a post-pandemic world where mental health challenges are skyrocketing. Therapists are fully booked, and wellness apps are booming. People are struggling to stay afloat—emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Yet here we are, watching leaders trying to shove complex human experiences into neatly labeled party boxes.

Democrats feel like the party of empathy—with no return. Repetition without solutions. Republicans come off as the party of judgment—cold and disconnected. One dances on the surface, the other stares down from a pedestal. Neither feels present. Neither seems to see the people.

And that’s the real issue: Americans are unseen and unheard. Our realities are missing from their narratives. It’s time these parties stop talking to each other and start listening to us.
