Unspoken Words

May 26, 2024

In the silence of a funeral’s embrace,
We gather with sorrow, hearts interlace.
Words of love and praise, finally said,
Eulogies given to the dear departed, now dead.

Yet in the living, we often forget,
To express the love, we so deeply regret.
Why do we wait for the end to proclaim,
The beauty and joy we feel in their name?

Imagine if birthdays were the times,
For heartfelt words, for genuine rhymes.
Celebrations of life with laughter and tears,
Sharing our love without any fears.

Every moment we breathe, every day we see,
Is a chance to express what our hearts decree.
Let’s not wait for the end to share,
The depth of our love, the warmth of our care.

For life is fleeting, moments swift,
Each day a precious, unspoken gift.
Let’s speak now, let’s celebrate,
Before it’s too late, before the fate.

At every birthday, let’s say what we feel,
Honest and open, genuine and real.
For in the end, what matters most,
Are the words unspoken, the love we host.

So let’s make a vow, you and me,
To cherish each moment, to truly be.
Inspiring and kind, every word a treasure,
In life’s grand story, beyond any measure.
