We See What We Choose to See..

September 6, 2024

Buddha’s words, “I am not what you think I am. You are what you think I am,” remind me how much of our reality is shaped by the stories we tell ourselves. What we believe about others is often a reflection of what’s happening within us. Our narratives dictate how we perceive the world and how we experience life.

But here’s the important part: these narratives aren’t fixed. We can rewrite them. Every day, I’m working through my own stories, trying to recognize the ones that no longer serve me. It’s not always easy, but I’ve learned that changing my internal dialogue can shift my perception and, ultimately, my reality.

The world responds to the lens we choose to see it through. What if we decided to rewrite our stories in a way that opens us up to new possibilities, instead of holding us back?
